David McI. Williams is a graduate
of Princeton
University and the Georgetown University Law Center. David is a member
of the Panel of Arbitrators, American Arbitration Association, and has
served as counsel or arbitrator in both construction and securities
disputes. He has served as trial counsel in matters involving
franchising law and securities fraud, having formerly been licensed as
a registered
representative with the National Association of Securities Dealers.
David
serves on various bar associations and community groups, including as a
trustee
of the Maryland Historical Society. David concentrates in commercial,
corporate,
maritime, and technology law. In addition to handling trials, appeals,
and
arbitrations before federal and state trial and appellate courts and
private
organizations, his practice includes transactional work in the areas of
corporate
law, commercial and consumer lending, and technology licensing. David
is
admitted to practice before the bars of Maryland and the District of
Columbia.
Francis J. Gorman is a graduate of the Georgetown
University School of Foreign Service and the Georgetown University Law
Center. His practice includes litigation and arbitration of business and insurance
matters, including professional
liability and responsibility matters and jury
trials of patent, copyright, and trademark infringement cases. Frank is
a
past chairman of the Intellectual Property Subcommittee of the Maryland
State
Bar Association. Frank serves in various community and professional
groups, serving as General Counsel of the Immigration Outreach Service
Center.
Frank
is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, is admitted
to
practice before the bars of Maryland and the District of Columbia, and
a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation. He
is
a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Baltimore School
of
Law (teaching Civil Procedure and Litigation Practice). In 2005, Frank
received the Maryland State Bar Lee Caplan Pro Bono Award.
Charles L. Simmons is a graduate of Towson
University and the University of Baltimore School of Law. Prior to
joining the firm, Charles spent nine years in managed care information
systems development and design for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of
Maryland. Charles served as Assistant Casenotes Editor of the
University of Baltimore Law Review. He has written and lectured on
Internet and intellectual property rights issues. Charles concentrates
in the areas of business, commercial, and insurance defense litigation,
and insurance coverage, intellectual property, and maritime law.
Charles is a member of local, state, and federal bar associations. He
is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, the
Federal District Court for the District of Maryland, and the Fourth
Circuit Court of Appeals.
Martin B. King is a graduate of the University of
Maryland College Park and the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Prior to joining Gorman & Williams, Marty spent thirteen years in
public accounting with the firm of King, King & Associates, P.A.
where he provided auditing, tax, and business consulting services to
small and middle market companies. Marty has also practiced law
as a solo practitioner since 1993, focusing on corporate business
transactions, estates and trusts, and general business matters. He is a
member of the Maryland
State Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants,
and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Michael S. Yang is a graduate of Johns Hopkins
University and the University of Baltimore School of Law. During law
school, Michael served as the Managing Editor of
the University of Baltimore Intellectual Property Law Journal and was
elected
president of the Intellectual Property Law Society. Michael is a member
of
the adjunct faculty at the University of Baltimore School of Law and he
has
lectured and written on numerous issues relating to technology and the
law.
His practice concentrates in the areas of Internet and technology law,
intellectual
property law, corporate and business law, and litigation. Michael is a
member
of the Baltimore City, Maryland State, and Federal Bar Associations.
P. Christian Dorsey is a graduate of the University of
Maryland College Park and University of Baltimore School of Law. Christian has
provided representation and counsel to clients in state
and
federal courts. Christian focuses his practice in the

of commercial
tort and contract claims, real estate disputes, and
professional liability cases. Christian is admitted to practice
before the bar in Maryland.
Ryan A. Burch is a graduate of Boston College and the
