Each Spring, Gorman & Williams presents a seminar series on timely legal issues. Past topics included patent applications and prosecution, trademark use and protection, intellectual property rights and e-commerce, digital media and downloads, electronic signatures (UETA and UCITA), implementation of workplace Internet use policies, Baltimore’s “Digital Harbor,” and business structure suggestions for technology companies. The firm’s seminars are held at interesting locations throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area. In the past, seminars have been held at the Enoch Pratt Library and The Emerging Technology Center / The Can Company.
